Terms for Contests

DROPP — Contest Platform Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 10/08/2026

DROPP Ltd — Company No. 17356074 — 71–75 Shelton Street, London, England, WC2H 9JQ

1. About these Terms

1.1 These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern participation in prize competitions ("Contests") available on the DROPP contest platform at contest.dropp.fans (the "Platform"), operated by DROPP Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with its registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, London, England WC2H 9JQ ("DROPP", "we", "us", "our").

1.2 Each Contest is organised and promoted by an independent creator (the "Host"). The Host is the promoter of the Contest. The Host supplies the prize and is responsible for its delivery, subject in all cases to DROPP's approval and oversight under clause 8. DROPP operates the Platform and provides entry management, payment processing through its payment partner, draw execution, winner verification and settlement safeguards.

1.3 Each Contest has its own contest details page setting out the prize and its value, the Host's identity, the opening and closing dates, the number of tickets available, the ticket price, any minimum ticket threshold, the supported countries, whether a cash alternative is available, and the free entry route (together, the "Contest Details"). The Contest Details form part of these Terms for that Contest. If there is any conflict between the Contest Details and these Terms, the Contest Details prevail for that Contest.

1.4 By entering a Contest you agree to these Terms and the Contest Details. You will be asked to confirm your acceptance before your entry is accepted. If you do not agree, do not enter.

2. Legal status of Contests

2.1 Contests on the Platform are prize competitions and free draws operated in accordance with sections 14 and 339 of, and Schedule 2 to, the Gambling Act 2005. They are not lotteries, betting or gaming, and no gambling licence is required to operate them or to take part.

2.2 This is because (a) every entrant, whether entering by the paid route or the free route, must first correctly answer a question requiring skill, knowledge or judgement, and (b) every Contest offers a free entry route that gives exactly the same chance of winning as a paid entry.

2.3 Local variations. The entry mechanics described in these Terms apply to Contests open to entrants in the United Kingdom. Entry routes and entry conditions may differ in other territories where required by local regulation. Where a Contest is open in another territory, the applicable entry route for that territory is stated in the Contest Details and in the local version of these Terms, and prevails for entrants in that territory.

3. Who may enter

3.1 Contests are open only to individuals who, at the time of entry: (a) are aged 18 years or over; (b) are resident in a country listed as supported in the Contest Details; and (c) hold a DROPP account registered in their own name with accurate and up-to-date details.

3.2 You must confirm that you are 18 or over when you enter, and your year of birth is collected at checkout. The winner's age and identity are verified before any prize or payment is released (clause 12). If verification shows that an entrant was ineligible, their entry is void, any provisional win is forfeited and a new winner is drawn.

3.3 The following may not enter any Contest:

  • the Host of that Contest;
  • members of the Host's immediate family or household;
  • employees, officers and contractors of DROPP and members of their households; and
  • any person professionally connected with the operation of that Contest.

3.4 Entries must be made personally. Entries made on behalf of another person, joint entries, bulk entries, and entries generated or assisted by bots, scripts, automated systems or artificial-intelligence tools are void.

3.5 We may refuse entry to, or disqualify, any person who has previously been suspended or removed from the Platform.

4. How to enter — paid entry

4.1 To enter by the paid route:

  • open the Contest page via the Host's link. The full Contest Details, these Terms and the free entry route are displayed before any payment is requested;
  • answer the entry question. You may retry if your answer is incorrect, but your entry will not proceed until the question is answered correctly;
  • confirm your acceptance of these Terms, confirm that you are aged 18 or over, and select your country of residence;
  • select the number of tickets or the ticket bundle you wish to purchase. Live ticket availability is displayed. The number of tickets in each Contest is fixed and cannot be exceeded;
  • complete checkout by providing your name, country, email address and year of birth; and
  • pay by card or supported payment method. Payments are processed by our payment partner. Strong customer authentication (3-D Secure) applies, and the issuing country of your payment card is checked against the supported countries for the Contest. Payments from unsupported countries are declined.

4.2 Your entry is complete only when payment is successfully authorised. You will then receive an email confirming your ticket number(s) and the draw date. If payment fails, no entry is made and no ticket is issued.

4.3 We may apply limits on the number of tickets any one person may purchase in a Contest, as stated in the Contest Details.

5. How to enter — free entry

5.1 Every Contest includes a free method of entry. Free entries have the same chance of winning as paid entries and are entered into the same draw.

5.2 To enter free of charge: (a) follow the free entry link on the ticket page; (b) complete the entry form in full, providing the same details required at paid checkout; and (c) answer the entry question correctly. Incomplete entries are not processed.

5.3 One free entry per person per Contest. Duplicate free entries are rejected.

5.4 Free entries are validated — including jurisdiction, fraud and duplicate-account checks — within 48 hours during working hours. Once validated, you will receive an email confirming your ticket number. A free entry that fails validation is rejected and does not enter the draw.

5.5 Free entry must be made before the Contest closes. We are not responsible for free entries that cannot be validated because the details provided were incomplete or inaccurate.

5.6 The free entry method for a given territory may be adapted where local regulation so requires (clause 2.3); the method applicable to each Contest is the one stated in its Contest Details.

6. Fair play and entry integrity

6.1 We operate duplicate-account and duplicate-entry detection, device and IP analysis, payment-method uniqueness checks and purchase velocity limits across all Contests, on both paid and free entries.

6.2 We may investigate any entry or account and may void entries, withhold prizes, and suspend or close accounts where we reasonably believe that these Terms have been breached, that entries have been obtained fraudulently or through automation, or that the spirit of a Contest has been abused. Paid entries voided for fraud are not refunded.

7. Eligible prizes

7.1 A Contest prize may fall within one of the following categories only:

  • Physical goods — new goods from a legitimate source, or pre-owned goods (including creator-owned memorabilia) whose authenticity, condition and provenance can be reasonably evidenced;
  • Services — services that the Host is legally able to provide, with a clearly defined scope, validity period and redemption process stated in the Contest Details;
  • Experiences — experiences with a clear description of what is and is not included (including whether travel and accommodation are included), applicable dates or validity window, and any age, health or other participation requirements, all stated in the Contest Details;
  • Digital items — digital goods or content where the Host's ownership or licensing rights are proven and the transfer terms are clear.

7.2 Proof of ownership. Before a Contest is approved, the Host must prove to DROPP their ownership of, or legal entitlement to supply, the prize. DROPP may require any of: an ownership declaration, invoices or acquisition records, provenance statements or certificates of authenticity, photographs, serial or tag details, licensing evidence for digital items, and evidence of capacity to deliver for services and experiences. A Contest is not approved until DROPP is satisfied with this evidence.

7.3 Prohibited prizes. The following are not accepted as prizes in any Contest: illegal goods or services in any relevant jurisdiction; counterfeit, replica or IP-infringing items; weapons, ammunition or explosives; alcohol, tobacco or controlled substances; medical, pharmaceutical or otherwise regulated products for which required licences are not evidenced; adult sexual content or services; content that is hateful, violent or extremist; stolen goods or goods of unclear provenance; live animals; financial products, stored value, cryptoassets, cash-transfer-like arrangements or any share of Contest revenue offered in place of the advertised prize; and any item or service that breaches payment-network rules, sanctions rules or the DROPP Terms of Service.

7.4 DROPP may reject any prize, or require substitution or additional evidence, at its sole discretion, including for categories with elevated fraud, dispute or chargeback risk.

7.5 Real property and high-value prizes. Land, houses and other real property are not accepted as prizes unless separately agreed with DROPP in advance under bespoke terms governing the legal transfer of the property. For real property and other high-value prizes, DROPP may require the appointment of independent lawyers to oversee the verification of the prize and its transfer to the winner; unless otherwise agreed in the bespoke terms, the costs of such lawyers are borne by the Host.

8. Contest approval and DROPP oversight

8.1 Every Contest requires DROPP's prior approval. Hosts submit each Contest for review before launch. DROPP reviews, among other things, the prize and its evidence of ownership (clause 7), the entry question, the ticket structure and pricing, and the supported countries. DROPP may approve the Contest, require modifications, or reject it. A Contest that has not been approved cannot go live.

8.2 Ongoing authorisation. DROPP's authorisation of a Contest is continuous, not one-off. DROPP reserves the right at any time — including while a Contest is live — to suspend or withdraw its authorisation, pause ticket sales, or cancel the Contest, where it reasonably believes that the Contest, the Host or the prize breaches these Terms, the law of a relevant jurisdiction, or the conditions under which the Contest was approved.

8.3 Withdrawing authorisation from a live Contest does not cancel entrants' chances. Where DROPP suspends or withdraws a live Contest, the Contest closes early: the draw takes place over the fixed pool of tickets already issued, and clause 13 — including the DROPP guarantee in clause 13.7 — applies. Only where the draw itself cannot lawfully or technically take place does clause 14.2 apply. Oversight decisions are documented and communicated on the Contest page.

8.4 All approval and oversight decisions, automated and manual, are logged with written justification and retained for audit.

8.5 Hosts cannot cancel. Hosts have no right to cancel, withdraw or alter a Contest once it is live. A Host who abandons or attempts to withdraw a live Contest remains fully bound: the Contest closes, the draw takes place, and the Host is treated as having failed to deliver under clause 13.7 — the Host is not paid and the winner is compensated from the held proceeds.

9. Closing of a Contest

9.1 A Contest closes when all tickets have been allocated or when the closing date and time in the Contest Details is reached, whichever happens first.

9.2 If the Contest Details specify a minimum ticket threshold and it is not met by the closing date, the Contest still closes and the draw still takes place over the tickets issued. The Host must then either deliver the prize as advertised or, where they do not confirm under clause 13.4, the winner receives the compensation in clause 13.7. Paid entries are not refunded in that case.

10. The draw

10.1 The draw is operated exclusively by DROPP. The Host has no access to, no role in, and no ability to influence the draw, the selection mechanism, or its outcome — at any stage, in any Contest.

10.2 The winner is selected by a live draw using a verifiably random selection over the fixed, numbered pool of tickets, comprising all paid tickets and all validated free entries.

10.3 The draw takes place on or shortly after the date notified in the Contest Details and in the confirmation email.

10.4 All draw records are kept in an auditable system, and the ticket log for each Contest is published publicly, so that any entrant can verify that the draw was conducted fairly and that their ticket was included.

10.5 The result of the draw is final, subject only to winner verification under clause 12.

11. Winner notification

11.1 The provisionally selected winner is notified by email at the address on their account. Entrants are responsible for keeping their contact details up to date and for checking their account after the draw date.

11.2 The winning ticket number is published alongside the draw record (see clause 16 on publicity).

12. Winner verification

12.1 Before any prize or payment is released, the provisional winner must complete identity verification through our verification partner, comprising: a government-issued identity document, proof of address, banking details (where a payment is to be made), age verification and anti-money-laundering screening.

12.2 The provisional winner must begin verification within 14 days of first notification. If the provisional winner cannot be contacted, does not begin or complete verification within that period, or fails verification, they are disqualified and a new winner is drawn under the same process. This continues until a verified winner is confirmed.

12.3 Where the Contest Details state that a cash alternative is available, the verified winner will be asked to choose between the prize and the cash alternative before fulfillment begins. That choice is final.

13. The prize, delivery and the DROPP guarantee

13.1 The prize is as described in the Contest Details and must fall within the eligible categories in clause 7. DROPP verifies the Host's proof of ownership or entitlement before the Contest is approved (clauses 7.2 and 8.1).

13.2 Prizes are not transferable. Unless the Contest Details state a cash alternative, there is no cash equivalent.

13.3 The Host is responsible for delivering the prize to the verified winner, in the delivery countries stated in the Contest Details. The Host and the winner will be put in contact to arrange delivery, collection, or — for services, experiences and digital items — redemption or transfer. Unless the Contest Details state otherwise, delivery costs are borne by the Host. The Host must retain proof of dispatch, delivery or redemption, and DROPP may require that evidence in any dispute.

13.4 Host confirmation within 7 days. Within 7 days of the draw, the Host must confirm on the Platform that they will deliver the prize as advertised. If the Host does not confirm within that period, the Host is deemed to have failed to deliver and clause 13.7 applies.

13.5 Delivery deadline. The Host must deliver the prize — or, for services, experiences and digital items, make it available for redemption or transfer — within the period stated in the Contest Details and in any event within 28 days of winner verification completing (or, for experiences tied to fixed dates, by the stated dates). If the prize has not been delivered or made available within that period, the Host is deemed to have failed to deliver and clause 13.7 applies.

13.6 The winner must confirm receipt of the prize on the Platform within 21 days of delivery, collection or redemption arrangements completing. The Host is paid the Contest proceeds only after the winner confirms receipt or, where no dispute has been raised, after that period ends.

13.7 DROPP guarantee. If the Host fails to deliver the prize (including under clauses 13.4 and 13.5), the Host is not paid. The winner instead receives cash compensation equal to 75% of the total ticket proceeds of that Contest, funded from the Host's withheld proceeds and paid directly to the winner's verified account. Where a Contest has multiple prizes and only some are undelivered, the compensation is apportioned between the affected winners.

13.8 Where the winner chooses an available cash alternative under clause 12.3, it is paid directly to the winner's verified account and deducted from the Host's proceeds.

14. Refunds

14.1 Ticket purchases are definitive. All entries are final and non-refundable. What you purchase is a place in the draw — and the draw is guaranteed. Once your entry is confirmed into the draw pool, the draw takes place even where the Host defaults, withdraws or fails to deliver: in every such case the winner receives the prize or the compensation in clause 13.7, funded from the held Contest proceeds.

14.2 Sole refund case: DROPP failure. Paid entries are refunded in full, to the original payment method, only where a failure of DROPP's platform or infrastructure prevents the Contest from being run or the draw from being properly conducted, or where DROPP determines that the Contest cannot lawfully proceed to a draw. Refunds under this clause are issued by our payment partner from the held Contest proceeds.

14.3 By entering, you expressly request immediate performance of the entry service and acknowledge that, once your entry is confirmed into the draw pool, you lose the right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

14.4 Nothing in this clause affects your statutory rights, including where a service has not been provided with reasonable care and skill.

15. Complaints and disputes

15.1 Complaints may be raised at any time through the support channel on the Platform. Post-draw disputes — including that a prize has not been received or is not as advertised — must be raised within 21 days of the draw date.

15.2 Disputes are handled as follows: initial investigation by DROPP within 5 business days; a Host response window of 5 business days; and a final decision within a further 3 business days. The DROPP Compliance Team is the final arbiter of Contest legitimacy. Every decision is documented with written reasons.

15.3 If a dispute is decided in the winner's favour, the Host is not paid and the winner receives the compensation described in clause 13.7.

16. Publicity

16.1 To demonstrate that each draw was genuinely and fairly conducted, we publish the winning ticket number together with the winner's first name and the initial of their surname alongside the public draw record.

16.2 Any further publicity — full name, image, interviews, social media content — is entirely optional and takes place only with the winner's prior written consent. Declining further publicity does not affect the winner's entitlement to the prize.

17. Personal data

17.1 We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the UK GDPR. Card data is handled entirely by our payment partner; DROPP does not store or process raw card data.

17.2 Contest, transaction, draw and verification records are retained for 7 years for legal and compliance purposes.

18. Liability

18.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales.

18.2 The prize is supplied by the Host, not by DROPP. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DROPP's total liability to any entrant in connection with a Contest is limited to the entry fees paid by that entrant for that Contest, plus any compensation due under clause 13.7.

18.3 We are not liable for events outside our reasonable control, including failures of internet, email or postal services, or outages of third-party providers, provided we have acted with reasonable care. We are not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed or not received as a result of such events.

19. Changes, cancellation and general

19.1 We may suspend or modify a Contest where required by law, where fraud or technical failure prevents it being run as intended, or where the Host materially breaches their obligations (see also clauses 8.2 and 8.3). Where the draw itself cannot take place, clause 14.2 applies.

19.2 We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes apply only to Contests launched after the updated Terms are published and never to entries already made.

19.3 Contests are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with any social media platform. You provide your information to DROPP and the Host, not to any social media platform.

19.4 If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.

20. Governing law and jurisdiction

20.1 These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

20.2 Disputes may be brought before the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. Nothing in these Terms deprives you of any mandatory consumer protections applicable in your country of residence.
