About the role
DROPP's product is built by one engineer: Léo. You are the second.
DROPP is the most active and advanced company in the creator economy, and it runs on AI tooling. Every payment between a creator and their fans goes through our stack. You sit at the center of it: building the product, and owning the payment layer and the money flow on the tech side.
You ship end to end next to Léo, and you use AI to move faster: in the product, and in the internal tooling for moderation, scoring and ops automation, so a two-person tech team ships like ten.
What you will do
- Build product features end to end with Léo, from API to the checkout a fan sees on their phone
- Own the payment layer and the money flow on the tech side
- Put internal AI workflows in production, and push the whole team's productivity with them
- Own parts of the stack outright, and document as you go
- Work directly with the founders and the creator community
What we look for
- You ship end to end in TypeScript, Next.js and Node.js
- You read a complex environment fast, and you build fast
- You have built real internal tooling on top of LLM APIs, not just demos
- You think in terms of how to grow with AI, not just how to use it
- Payments background is a plus
- You like talking to users as much as writing code
